Being a lady means not to only be neatly dressed but also care and obey good manners. No swearing, behave culturally, be kind. I think that a lady is a woman, who knows her worth and is sure of it. She is confident but in polite way. Being a lady is also something more. All is about atmosphere and impression, which a lady exerts on people. Clothes aren't that important as that impression is. People have odorous respect for her. Neatly clothes and good manners harmonize with feeling and makes woman a lady.
